I usually don’t cook beef because I don’t know how to do it right unless it’s the ground kind. The BF walked me through cooking a flank steak last night (sear on high heat for 3 minutes each side; broil for 4 minutes each side) and I did it! Then today, I found this awesome article titled “The Finger Test to Check the Doneness of Meat” which is awesomeness!
I’d like two specific things from the universe:
1. To find my long-lost kindle.
2. To get a new job.
Just thought I’d put it out there (like The Secret).

I truly LOVE me some mac and cheese! I cannot wait to make this. With whole wheat macaroni that is.
